Frances Beckwith

Born on July 25, 1918, the daughter of the late George and Amelia (Pernal) Aszklar. Prior to her retirement she had worked for New Departure in Bristol. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church. Frances was a member of the Calendar House and enjoyed doing crafts and gardening.

She is survived by 2 sons, Ernest E. Beckwith Jr. and wife Deborah of Hadlyme, and David Beckwith and wife Lee of Southington, 3 grandchildren, Ernest E. Beckwith III, Holly Beckwith, and David Beckwith Jr., 4 great-grandchildren Rhys and Arlo Schreck, Lila and Lucia Beckwith, a brother Edward Aszklar of Southington.

She was predeceased by 4 brothers, Henry, John, Walter and Frank Aszklar and a half sister Josie Pernal.

The Funeral will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at 9:45 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 from 5-8 p.m.
