

He was the beloved husband of Joan (Gallugi) Macri for 65 years. Born on February 20, 1931, in Plainfield, NJ, Frank was the son of the late Rocco and Sallie (Troiano) Macri.
A proud veteran of the Korean War, Frank served in the U.S. Air Force, honoring his country with dedication and courage. After his service, he had a long and successful career as an Operational Lead Manager for Newsweek Magazine, where he made a lasting impact in the publishing industry.
Frank had many passions, including his love for bridge, which he played with the Hartford Bridge Club, achieving the esteemed title of Life Master. He was also a member of the WestWoods Plainville Men’s Golf League in Farmington and was known for his joy of cooking, often sharing meals and his recipes with friends and family.
In addition to his wife Joan, Frank is survived by his children, Melissa Macri and wife Nancy of Hartford, and Frank Macri and wife Cyndi of Farmington. He was a proud grandfather to two grandsons, Tyler and Noah Macri, whom he adored and loved to watch movies and sports with them.
Frank’s life was marked by his love for family, his dedication to service, and his deep engagement in the community. He will be remembered for his warmth, his kindness, and his many contributions to those around him.

Services for Frank will be held privately with his family. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
