George H. McGibbon

George Henry McGibbon, 94, a longtime resident of Southington, passed away on January 13, 2021. Born in Lewiston, Maine, he was the son of Llewellyn and Ella (Mank) McGibbon. George was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his children, George McGibbon, Tari Collins, Donald McGibbon, Michael McGibbon, Brian McGibbon, James McGibbon, Beth Gagnon and John McGibbon; all of his grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchild. George was predeceased by his brothers, Llewellyn McGibbon Jr., Robert McGibbon, Richard McGibbon and Lawrence McGibbon. Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service to celebrate George’s life will be held at a later date. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
