Born in Southington on May 26, 1926 the son of the late Carmen and Jennie (Lippia) Pompey. Prior to his retirement he worked with his family on the Pompey Farm in Southington on Queen St. for many years.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Joseph Pompey and Thomas Pompey, and a sister Rose Milewski all of New Britain, He was predeceased by sisters Florence Pompey, Ann Haines, Josephine Pedrolini, Elizabeth Moon and brothers James and Anthony.
The Funeral will be held on Tuesday Dec, 18, 2007 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St. Plantsville at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
