She was born August 11, 1921, in Cliffside Park, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria Safino.
She leaves her children, JoAnn Fairburn and her husband Jack of CT and Thomas Kerekes and his wife Susan of CT and FL, a sister Margaret Lazorko of NJ, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 5 sisters and a brother.
The Funeral will be held Thursday 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. at 10 a.m. for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday 6-8 p.m. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or the Alzheimer Association, 279 New Britain Rd., Kensington, CT 06079.
