
Born July 24, 1956 in Southington he was the son of Malcolm Sewell and his wife Blanche of Torrington and the late Gwendolyn (Fisher) Sewell.
Glenn lived in many places including Atlanta, GA and Reno, NV, where he worked in the retail pet supplies industry with his oldest brother before settling back in CT. He worked in the family business, Washington Concrete Products for many years as a salesman, where he was in contact with many local landscapers and contractors. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, bicycling and canoeing. He enjoyed spending time in the winter at various Caribbean islands, where he ultimately met his wife.
Glenn is survived by a large family, including his father Malcolm, son Michael, brothers Richard and Scott, wife Angela, many nephews and 2 step daughters. He was predeceased by his older brother Gordon.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday 10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Glenn was a patient of Dr. Petit, and was heartbroken by the horrible events that happened to his family. In lieu of flowers charitable donations may be made in Glenn?s honor to the Petit Family Foundation, PO Box 310, Plainville, CT 06062-0310.
