Harold Thomas Heath

He was born in Bristol on Aug. 3, 1920, the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Perry) Heath. Harold was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He received a BS degree in criminology and was a police officer in Bristol and he had retired from Pat-TED Springs Co. in Bristol. He was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church. Harold loved being with all kinds of people, he enjoyed woodworking, golf and the Yankees.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Sandra and husband Jack Furey of Niantic, Ellen and husband Jim Lasek of Southington, Jeffrey Heath of New Haven and Cheryl and husband Ricky Ouellette of Canton, a sister Joyce Raklaitis of Bristol, 10 grandchildren, Shamus, Christopher, Dennis, Matthew, Craig, Heather, Ryan, Victoria, Taylor and Nicholas, 8 great grandchildren, DJ, Mitchell, Tabatha, Colin, Sam, Conner, Benjamin and Callan. He was predeceased by a brother and 3 sisters.

The Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery with Military honors. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
