

Born May 9, 1960 in Danbury, son of Patricia (Burns) Germaine of Plantsville and the late Phillip Germaine.
He was a chef at Hospital of Central CT, Bradley Memorial for 33 years and was active with their Employee Association. He had also owned H& R. Cleaning Services. He was a graduate of Southington High School.
He coached and was a board member of Western Baseball League and coached in Southington Youth Soccer League. He was an avid Red Sox and Dallas Cowboy fan. He enjoyed remodeling and woodworking as a hobby.
Besides his wife he is survived by 2 children, Ryan Germaine and Danielle Germaine of Southington, 5 brothers, Peter Germain and wife Jackie of Watertown, Michael Germaine of Southington, Tim Germaine and wife Jane of Santa Rosa, CA, Gary Germaine of New Britain and David Germaine of Bristol, a sister Michelle Spagnoletti and husband Peter of Plymouth, his father-in-law, Garry Nephew and wife Melody of Largo, FL, mother-in-law Barbara Jaskiewicz of Southington, his sister-in-law Michele (Nephew) Sukatski of Southington and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves special friends, Jay and Karen Landau and their children, Michael and Alexis of Lancaster, PA.
Besides his father he is predeceased by his step father-in-law Tony Jaskiewicz.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bogdanski and Dr. Brown, the ER, ICU and Dietary staff at Bradley Memorial.
The Funeral will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at the Plantsville Congregational Church, 99 Church St. Plantsville. Burial will be at South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St.
