Joseph C. Pistilli

Joseph was born on February 10, 1934 in Meriden, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Rose (Sorvillo) Pistilli. He lived a large part of his life in Meriden and Southington and worked until retirement at the Pratt and Whitney Aircraft Co. He also served honorably in the Naval Reserve Forces and was discharge in October of 1960. Joseph was fond of being near or on the water and loved boating on the CT river and Long Island Sound.

He rejoins his late wife Claudia (Middleton) Pistilli to whom he was married from September 8, 1956 until her passing on August 13, 2008. He is survived by his sons Joseph and his wife Cheryl Pistilli of Bristol, Daniel and his wife Deborah Milewski , Rick and his wife Karen Pistilli all of Southington, a brother Raymond and his wife Jan of Crisfield, MD, and four grandchildren Jessica, Melissa, Kevin, and Katie Pistilli.

Funeral will be at 5 PM on Sunday at DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southignton. Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 5 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Visit www.dellavecchiafh.com for online condolences and directions.
