Katie Nicole Anton

Born in Waterbury on September 21, 1980, she was the daughter of Douglas and Laurie (Nadeau) Anton. Katie graduated from Wolcott High School and Naugatuck Valley Community College. Last year she moved to St. Petersburg where she continued her career in property management.

Katie was adept in all things Harry Potter and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. She loved to read and was unbeatable at trivia. Katie was a thoughtful and generous person whose smile could light up a room. She shared a love of her Irish heritage with her “Grandma Joyce.” She will be deeply missed by her many friends and her devoted dog Phineas.

Besides her parents of Wolcott, she is survived by a sister Amy Rossi and her husband Lou of Allendale, NJ; her paternal grandmother Barbara Anton of Waterbury; her maternal grandparents Richard and Joyce Nadeau of both Waterbury and St. Petersburg, FL; her aunt Lori Ritch and her husband Mark of Oxford; uncles Peter Anton of Waterbury and David Nadeau of St. Petersburg, with whom she lived; cousins Wayne Anton, Gregory Anton, Krista Anton, Nicholas Ritch, Mark Ritch and Stacy Ritch; and her beloved nieces and nephew Emerson, Sydney and Colin Rossi. She was predeceased by uncles Richard J. Nadeau and Craig Anton.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 12 noon at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. Calling hours are Saturday morning from 10 AM to noon.
