Louis Allan

He was the husband of Rhoda Wood Allen and they were married for 55 years. Louis was born in Sandisfield, MA, and was the son of the late William and Mildred (Landcraft) Allen.

He served in the Korean War in the U.S. Navy on the USS H.W. Butner. Louis retired from Sheldon Precision Co. and was a member of the Faith Living Church in Plantsville.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Lorraine Allan Micklos and Louis Allan Jr. both of Southington, a brother Leonard Allan of Waterbury; his grandchildren Christie Olmstead and husband Billy of Wolcott, Kevin Allan, Joshua Allan, Jacob Allan and Jessie Allan Micklos all of Southington; four great-grandchildren, Luke, James and Jackson Olmstead and Morgan Allan all the treasured lights of his life. Louis was predeceased by brothers William Allan Jr. and James Allan.

His family will celebrate his life in a private graveside service at the State Veterans Cemetery.
