

Louise was born on February 26, 1937, in New Britain and was the daughter of the late Leo Glowacki and Antoinette (Zarrella) Danylow.
She retired in 2000 from Philips Tech in Cheshire after many years of dedicated service. Louise was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, UCONN men’s and women’s basketball, and NASCAR. Above all, she was a devoted Elvis Presley fan and greatly enjoyed his music.
Louise is survived by her five children: Diane Marek of Bristol; Ronald Marek and his fiancée, Tina Pagano, of Southington; Cheryl Marek of Southington; Robert Marek of Oklahoma; and Annette Bishop of Meriden. She also leaves six grandchildren, including Amanda Rideout and her husband, Dave; Jason Marek; Melissa Rader; and Deidra Plourde; as well as her beloved great-grandson, Brayden Marek. She is also survived by her special cousin Beverly Fiondella of Southington, her sister-in-law Ruthanne DeMoura of Florida, her brother, Joseph DeMoura of Oregon, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Nicholas Davis.
The family would like to thank the staff at John Dempsey Hospital UCONN along with Accent Care Hospice team for their compassion and wonderful care given to Louise.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington. A funeral home service will begin at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be held privately with her family.
