Madona St. Pierre

Born April 22, 1946 in Connors, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of Germaine Oakes of Canada and the late Raoul Oakes.

Madona was employed by Corbin & Russwin of Berlin and was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.

Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son Scott St. Pierre of Plainville; two brothers, Guy Oakes and wife Mona (Long) of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada and William Oakes and wife Danielle (Plante) of St. Francois, New Brunswick, Canada; four sisters, Therese Gendreau and husband Guildo, Pieriette Oakes, Louise Pelletier and husband Luc all of St. Francois, New Brunswick, Canada and Jeanine Boulet and husband Yves of Connors, New Brunswick, Canada; a brother-in-law, Aurele Theriault of Daigle, ME and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Nicole Theriault, who died in 2007 and Georgette Oakes, who died in 1969.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Dominic Church 1050 Flanders Rd. for a mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
