She was born March 25, 1928 in Southington and was the daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Mary (O’Connell) Walsh.
Margaret retired from the UCONN Health Center and was a parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church.
She is survived by her daughter Margaret “Meg” Philippi and her husband Russell of Milldale; a niece Sheila Walsh of S. Weymouth, MA; a great niece Corey Ferguson of Cohasset, MA and a great-great niece Eva Mae Barber of Cohasset, MA. She was predeceased by a brother Francis Walsh and two sisters, Anne Mason and Marion Girell.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 27th at 11 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Bread for Life, 31 Vermont Ave., Southington, CT 06489. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting with the arrangements.
