

Born on September 25, 1935, in Washington, D.C., she was the only child of the late Joseph M. and Violet R. (Dennis) Quinn.
Nancy was a 1953 graduate of The Academy of the Holy Cross and attended Marymount College. She worked at IBM in New York City before meeting her future husband. On October 5, 1957 she married William A. Fiske in Westfield, NJ. They lived first in Clark, NJ and then enjoyed twenty--five years in Danbury, CT where they raised their family. Nancy, an avid music lover, was an active member of ?Sweet Adelines? Chapters in both New Jersey and Connecticut and was with the Candlewood Valley, CT Chapter when they won the prestigious ?Small Chorus Award? in the early 1980?s. In 1996 they moved to Ormond Beach, FL and spent thirteen years celebrating their retirement. They returned to CT in 2009 to spend more time with their children and grandchildren. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage together before William?s death in 2011.
Nancy is survived by her five children, Pamela Ravener and her husband, Thomas, of Endicott, NY, William J. Fiske and his wife, Diana, of Simsbury, CT, Constance Vliet and her husband, William, of Manchester, CT, Catherine Woolfson and her husband, David, of West Hampton Dunes, NY, and Jennifer Wetzler and her husband, Gregory, of Newington, CT; eight grandchildren, Shane and Quinn Ravener, Sarah and Hannah Fiske, Kevin and Andrew Vliet, Liam Woolfson and Ehric Wetzler; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Memorial Chapel, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm
