Padraic Timothy Duffy

He was born April 30, 1966 in New Britain, the son of Karla (Gee) Duffy of Meriden and Christopher Duffy of Waldoboro, ME. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 15. Padraic attended Southington Schools and was a graduate of Bristol Central High School. He received his BA in Economics from CCSU. He served in the US Coast Guard.

Besides his parents he is survived by a son Nathan John Duffy of Bristol, 3 brothers, Jesse Bloom of Seattle, WA, Timothy Duffy of Waldoboro, ME and Samuel Duffy of Seattle, WA. He also leaves his Aunts, Sandi Cyr and husband David of Southington and Kristyl Gee and husband Ken Johnson of Southington, his “ other mother “ Kandi Shappy of Plainville, his Uncles, Scott Krane of Enfield, Neil Krane of Thomaston,ME, Damon Krane of Colchester, Sean Krane of Southington, Reagan Krane of Westbrook, Kiernan Krane of Plantsville, and Aunt Erin Nora Petit, many cousins and extended family in Canada. He was predeceased by his infant brother Michael Duffy, 2 Uncles Rourke Duffy and Jeremy Krane.

A Remembrance of Padraic’s Life will be Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be with Military Honors at State Veteran’s Cemetery in Middletown. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 4-8 pm.
