Palmina Frisina

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Palmina Frisina, who peacefully departed this world on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the age of 101. Palmina was born in Southington on May 7, 1924, to the late Anthony and Josephine (Perfetto) Tacinelli. Raised in Southington, attended local schools. and worked many years as a secretary at Allied Control.

Palmina was a kind and gentle soul, a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, a beacon of love and joy in the lives of her family. Her quick wit and incredible sense of humor will be missed by all. She was the heart of our family, always offering a listening ear, a warm embrace, and unwavering support. Her love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories

Palmina is survived by her daughter Joan and her husband Darryl, her son Anthony and his wife Roxanne, her grandchildren Gregory and Denise, as well as 5 great grandchildren Kiersten, Anya, Mia, Ivy, and Ryker. She was preceded in death by her son George and four sisters Mary, Josephine, Dolores, and Ann.

At Palmina’s request all services will be private and at the convenience of her family. In lieu of sending flowers the family asks that memorial contributions in her name be made directly to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital by going to www.stjude.org
