He was born September 28, 1928 in Southington and was the son of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Cusano) D’Aunno.
Pasco was a parishioner of Mary Our Queen Church, Southington. He was an elementary school teacher in East Hampton, CT and, after his retirement, he volunteered at Bradley Memorial Hospital for 26 years. Pasco served in the Korean War alongside his life-long friends Ralph and Vito Riccio.
He is survived by his children, Tom D’Aunno and his wife Mattia Gilmartin; Denise D’Aunno and her husband Peter Leone; Heather (D’Aunno) Carpenter and her husband David; a sister Regina Boyce and husband Robert; six grandchildren and their spouses, Elizabeth (D’Aunno) Janczyk and Ben Janczyk, Katherine D'Aunno and fiancée Evan Gorden-Dry, Peter and Caitlyn D’Aunno, Daniel D’Aunno, and Tom and Jack Leone; and one great-grandchild, Nathan Janczyk. Pasco was predeceased by his first wife, Sadie Riccio D’Aunno, his daughter Doreen Fasulo, and four sisters, Lucy Pompilio, Carmena Howard, Rose Surdam and Phyllis Tierney.
A Mass of Christian burial will he held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10 am, Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
