

Born in Waterbury on March 24, 1944, he was the son of the late Paul and Felicia (Marzano) Levanti. He graduated “3rd in his class” from Oliver Wolcott Technical HS and was honored with the Industrial Education Award and a Citation of Merit by the Manufacturer’s Association of CT at that time. He served in the US Navy and earned an Associates Degree at Waterbury State Technical College. He retired from Northeast Utilities where he worked for over 30 years and was also employed at the Bristol Company in Waterbury. He was a member of the American Legion Post 165 in Wolcott, and the Order of the Free Masons along with his grandson Kyle. Paul’s love for the ocean continued throughout his life. He owned a boat, enjoyed fishing and went on 15 cruises with his wife. He was also a great cook.
Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his daughters Michelle Levanti and her fiancé Dean Scott of Racine, WI, Lisa and her husband James Bookman of Wolcott, three grandchildren Kyle Pelletier of Wolcott, Alex Rijos and Serenity Scott both of Racine, WI. He was predeceased by a brother Frank Levanti and a sister Bernice Sforza.
Funeral Services are private. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Wolcott has been entrusted with his arrangements.
