

Mrs. Sepko was born in Poland on Nov. 25, 1912, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Ogonowski. She farmed all her life, growing up on a farm and married to a farmer. She was an incredible loving mother, "Babci" who always put others before herself. She loved her flower garden and her African violets. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and a charter member of the Immaculata Women's Club.
She is survived by her children, Melanie and husband Costos Zissopoulos, Irene and husband Robert Sherman, Paul Sepko, and Elizabeth and husband Douglas Gregory. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as a brother Arthur Ogonowski and a sister Melanie Borysewicz and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Vincent Sepko Jr., 2 brothers Antoni and Walter, and a sister Helen.
The family would like to thank the staff at Southington Care Center for all their loving care, kindness and support given to Philomena during her stay.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday morning from 8:30-10:30 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington
