Richard A. Piccolo

He was born on November 1, 1957, in North Miami, FL, son of Anthony and Sofia (Elia) Piccolo of Waterbury. A Southington resident since 1984, Richard was raised in Waterbury and graduated from Kennedy High School in 1975. He also earned a BA in Human Resources at UCONN. Richard was employed by Universal Staffing Services in Hartford for the last 26 years. Richard was a real family man and was very optimistic person even through his illness. He took pride in his yard and enjoyed gardening.Besides being a wonderful husband for the last 26 years, he was a dedicated father to Jennie and Scott R. Piccolo of Southington. He is also survived by four sisters and their husbands; Eleanor and Kenneth Manni of WA, Gaetana and Joseph French of SD, Theresa and Thomas Broderick of Prospect, Teriann and Mark

Brown North Haven; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Piccolo.

     Funeral will be Saturday 10:30 Am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St. for a mass at

11:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 8 a.m.

     In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Richard Piccolo Family Scholarship Fund c/o Webster bank 132 Main St. Southington, CT 06489.
