Rita Bleau

Born in Plainville on Dec. 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Damiano. She was employed by Beacon & Corbin and The Peck Spring Company, but was mostly a caring stay at home mom. She was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.

She is survived by her two sons, New Britain Police Sergeant Robert D. Bleau Jr. and his wife Grace of Plainville, Anthony Bleau of Southington, two daughters, Deborah Bleau of Southington, and Theresa and her husband Buster Butler of Plainville, three grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, and Christina Bleau. two Brothers, Stephen Damiano of Bristol, Michael Damiano Jr. and his wife Pat of Meriden, two sisters, Evelyn and her husband Joseph DiMauro and Dena and her husband Joseph Ferraci all of Plainville, her aunt and uncle Emma and Tony Sansone of New Britain also several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Dominic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Plainville, Calling hours will be TODAY (Friday) from 4-8 p.m.
