
He was born July 29, 1930 in Southington, the son of the late Martin and Helen (Leete) Quinlan. He was a graduate of Lewis High School Class of 1948 and he served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was employed by P.J. Delahunty, Inc. throughout his career as a master carpenter. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and a parishioner of St. Thomas Church.
In addition to his devoted wife Isabel (Wollschlager) Quinlan of 48 years, he is survived by two sons, Kevin and his wife Ann of Wilton and Steven of Beacon, NY. He loved his four grandchildren, Shannon, Vivian, Brendan and Kathleen Quinlan of Wilton.
He is also survived by his brother Edmund Quinlan and family of Southington, nieces and nephews in Southington & Meriden. He was predeceased by a brother Richard Quinlan.
The funeral will be held on Saturday 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
