Born in Waterbury on April 27, 1963, he was the son of Andrea (VanCouver) Cohen of Wolcott and the late Raymond Cohen. He graduated from Wolcott High School. He worked for CL&P/ Eversource for the last 33 years and was a past VP of the IBEW Union local 457. He enjoyed fishing and the Rhode Island beaches.
Besides his mother, Roger is survived by two sons Robert and his wife Kelly Cohen of Bristol, Dan Cohen of Wolcott and his former spouse Tammy Cohen of Wolcott.
Rogers life will be celebrated with a gathering at Johnny B’s restaurant located at 1457 Meriden Rd. in Wolcott on Saturday January 5th from 12 to 4 PM. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Wolcott is assisting his family with the arrangements. Visit www.dellavecchiafh.com for online tributes.
