Roland Fortin

He is survived by his mother Brenda Saunders and step- father Ron Saunders his father Roland J. Fortin Jr. and his wife Estelle of Bassett, VA, his girlfriend, Jennifer Branche and their daughter Alyssa Fortin. He also leaves his brothers, Cameron Saunders, Matthew Fortin and nephews Matthew Jr. and Caleb Fortin, his sisters, Heather Saunders of Ashland, OR, Jennifer Marquis of Meriden and Lori Brehme of Middletown, his paternal grandparents, Roland and Jeannette Fortin, his maternal grandmother Ruth Christensen Holmes of Billerica, MA and his maternal grandfather George Sweezey of Plainville, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the Faith Living Church, 20 Grove St. Plantsville at 10:30 a.m. Calling hours will be Monday 5-8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to CHET, P.O Box 150499, Hartford, CT 06115, for the education of his daughter.
