It is with deep sadness that the family of Ronald Boucher announces his passing on January 5, 2026, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born on June 21, 1941, in Fort Kent, Maine, to the late Vinnie and Rella (Labbe) Boucher, Ron was 84.
Ron was the beloved husband of Barbara (Ouelette) Boucher, with whom he shared over 57 years of marriage. Together, they built a life full of love and memories. He was a dedicated businessman, owning and operating B&B Foundations LLC in Southington for many years, where he earned the respect of many in the community for his quality and strong work ethic.
A longtime communicant of St. Thomas Church until its closure, Ron’s faith and devotion to his community were central to his life. After retirement he moved back to Maine but returned to Southington in his later years to be closer to his family. He was an active member of the Sly Brook Sno-Riders a snowmobile and 4-wheeler club and loved spending time outdoors, particularly enjoying ice fishing and the tranquility of nature. He was often seen on the porch swing with his beloved Golden Retriever, Maggie, soaking in the simple pleasures of life.
In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his two children: Dean Boucher and his wife, Antoinette, and Tammy Maguire and her husband, Timothy. He leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Alyssa, Lauren, Angelina, Colin, and Kailey. He is also survived by his siblings, Vincent Boucher, Rodney Boucher and his wife, Esther, and his sister, Edna Blanchette. He was predeceased by his brother, Leonard Boucher.
A visitation for Ron will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington, CT 06489. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
