Shannon had the most kind and giving heart, and would go to great lengths to help those in need, almost always putting others' needs before her own. She was an incredibly loving mother, Titi, sister, and daughter. Family was so very important to her, and her children were her world. She enjoyed spending every moment with her children, fishing trips with her son, the beach, DIYing, and just relaxing and binge watching her favorite shows. Shannon was also a “little miss fix it”, and one of her favorite places to hone her skill was at the family apartment house, her grandfather and father’s pride and joy. She was also incredibly creative and known for her beautiful candy bouquets. She loved animals of all kinds, and was fond of dragonflies, as they had great spiritual significance to her, and we will know that she is amongst us whenever one is near.
She is survived by her children Anthony and Erianna Bartucca of Southington; her mother Elizabeth Cardona of Plainville; her sister Nicole Butkiewicz and her husband Brian of Southington; her niece and nephew Sydney and Caleb Butkiewicz of Southington; and her pups and grand-pups Rocky, Luna, and Serenity. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Shannon is predeceased by her father Delos F. Moore, Jr.
Due to the current pandemic, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Shannon’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the Prudence Crandall Center in New Britain, CT. To honor and celebrate Shannon, her family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home in Southington has been entrusted with arrangements.
