Stephen Patla

He was born in Southington on September 6, 1955 the son of Julia (Juda) Patla of Southington and the late Adam V. Patla.

Stephen was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He loved being outdoors, especially playing soccer, skiing and swimming. He loved his home, spending time with his family, friends and lunches with his neighbor.

In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his son, Stephen Christopher Patla of Bloomfield; his sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Pat and H. Curtis Knowlton of Southington, and Susan Brereton of Simsbury; his nieces, Hillary and husband Robert Patz Jr. and Kate and husband Mark Oxton of Avon; his nephew Adam Knowlton and wife Rachel of Hampstead, NH; grand-nieces, Peyton, Piper and Parker Knowlton and Addison Oxton, grand-nephews, Easton, Hudson and Caden Patz.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday Feb. 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 120 Summer St.Plantsville. Calling hours will be on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
