Sylvia E. (DeRisi) Mauro, 87 of Thomaston and formerly of Southington, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony (Tony) Mauro, they were married for 65 years.
Born February 25, 1936 in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Silvio and Rachel (Wood) DeRisi.
Sylvia is survived by her daughter Sandi Mauro and her husband Dieter Fehlinger of Thomaston; granddaughter Allie Thompson and her husband Ryne of Thomaston; two sons, Alan and Tom Mauro and five grandchildren, Alan, Spencer, Olivia and Michael Mauro. She was predeceased by three sisters, Marion Agostini, Margarita Calabro and Mary Mauro.
