Therese (Groleau) Dion

Born in Waterbury on March 13, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecile (Beaudoin) Groleau. She graduated from Wolcott High School.

Although Terri was employed at several different companies over the years her primary focus and love was her family. She loved being a “Memere”, taking care of Gerry and shopping with her sisters. She instilled that love of family onto her daughter Jennifer who carries those values. She also enjoyed making ceramics, vacations to Ocean City, MD, and loved her dog Chico.

Besides her husband of 38 years, Terri leaves her daughter Jennifer and her husband Harry Clement, grandchildren Peyton and Taylor Clement all of Bristol, her sisters Elaine Corbett, Lucille and her husband Tom Kolakoski of Wolcott, and several nieces and nephews. Terri was a devoted daughter in law to Georgette Dion of Wolcott and the late Germain Dion who passed in June. She is also survived by her brother in law Gary and his wife Sherry Dion of FL, a sister in law Agnes Dion of Bristol. Besides her father in law, she was predeceased by a sister Claire Audet.

Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Pius X Church 525 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
