He was born in New Britain, the son of Leonard and Madeline (Wilkins) Cipollone. He had been employed by the Dept. of Health for the State of CT for 27 years. He loved to play golf and was in a league with the Dept. of Public Health, loved watching UCONN Men's Basketball and enjoyed summer on the Narragansett Beach.
Besides his parents he is survived by a son Michael Cipollone of Southington and a brother Leonard Cipollone of Meriden. He also leaves his aunts and uncles; Charlotte Henlin, Sandy and Bruce Tarro, Paul and Susan Cipollone, Larry and Lori Cipollone and Linda and Ray Neil, his nephews Matthew and Nicholas Cipollone.
The Funeral will be held Wednesday 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Thomas Church at 10 am. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
