Dear Mandy,

I am shocked and very sad to have come across this information, randomly on Facebook. 

I will never forget you or your larger than life personality. And how can both you girls forget dancing like animals in your basement?! 
We spent a lot of time together. 

My mother and I will definitely be at your celebration of life. 

I saw you once at no frills and you looked soooo good! That was years ago.

I always knew that Mandy was someone special. We worked together at No Frills for about 5 years and had so many laughs together, and she always brightened up my day. Even when I quit we stayed in touch, she helped arrange my bridal shower and gave me advice that changed my life. Mandy was unbelievably selfless and the most loving person I know. She will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Mandy’s passing. Mandy and I worked together at No Frills for many years. She would always tell me that I reminded her of a younger version of herself, and I was honoured to hear that. She was always there to listen to me vent about everything and anything and always offered me the best advice. We would work together for every Thursday night closing shift and would always have the best times. Mandy was truly one of a kind and the nicest, kindest and selfless person you would have ever met. I consider myself lucky to have had her as a friend and someone I looked up to. May Mandy rest in the utmost peace. My condolences go out to Marty and the rest of Mandy’s friends and family❤️ 

I was absolutely devastated to hear Mandy is no longer with us. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, she was so kind-hearted, thoughtful and an overall wonderful person. Even though it has been years since we worked together, I have never forgotten the fun times we had together. Rest in peace Mandy.

I was absolutely devastated to hear of Mandy’s passing. Having known her for years, Mandy was truly one of a kind and we lost her way too soon. While I could use so many words to describe her there is no way to capture the essence that was Mandy (and those who know her know what I am talking about). From her bubbly personality to her crazy sense of style to the bright bursts of colour in her hair her presence was undeniable. She exuded an energy that had an immediate effect on anyone around her. She had the ability to make anyone laugh and you couldn’t help but smile when she was around. Always positive, smiling and optimistic even during the hard times. Never changing herself for anyone she truly was always her most authentic self and I greatly admired that about her. She was one of the most generous and caring people I know. Even when times were tough she always found a way to provide for those less fortunate than her (be it animals or humans). I will never forget all the great memories I had with Mandy during the years. From all the shifts worked together to our Sunday night Degrassi watch parties, Gilmore Girls nights, Swiss Chalet dates, nights out, concerts (Spice Girls!), our random walks around town or the mall and our long conversations about everything and sometimes nothing at all. Mandy, I’m still in disbelief that you are no longer a text or call away. I will forever miss the brightness you brought to this world.

I am so sorry to hear of Mandy's passing. I met Mandy in high school. She was always so kind, caring and considerate. She was an amazing person and she will be missed by many. 

Mandy was such a beautiful sole.  She was so kind, fun loving, and thoughtful. She frequently put the needs of others before herself and would do anything  for everyone in her life.  Mandy always had a smile on her face even when she was going through a difficult time. She cherished her family deeply and always talked about them.  I will always carry fond thoughts and memories and her and she will always be in my heart. When I wash my hands I will always remember her famous line “this soap smells happy”. Miss you!  LaLaLisa

I’ve know the Deacon family since I was a toddler. We were backyard neighbours and my sisters and I all grew up together. We celebrated many birthdays together. I have such amazing memories of Mandy. She was always the life of the party. Her smile and laughter always filled the room! I remember car rides to school with Mr. Deacon as he would make us listen to his British music. There was never a dull moment with the Deacon and Duong sisters. Mandy will be truly missed! 

I am saddened by the news of Mandy's passing, she was a frequent face at our house, over the high school years. Bringing joy and laughter with her, many nights of make up and hair styling.  I can not begin to know what pain you all must be going through, my heart aches for you, your loss and ours is great.  You have gone way too soon, rest now free of pain and illness Sweet Girl. Hugs

Mandy was a bright light in this crazy world, she befriended me when few would. We instantly bonded over our love of horrible music and cats. I still remember the day she earned her first cat at a soccer game involving an interesting bet with her dad. She will forever be missed.

RIP beautiful spirit. You always had the gift of making people laugh. I have many happy memories of times in the cash office were we laughed  and sometimes cried but always ended with  more laughter will miss you brat you were a special friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends we are all better for having shared life and living with you.

My beautiful Mandy pants! I cant believe you are gone, it doesnt seem real.  The past week i cant stop thinking about all the hilarious moments weve had over the ten years of friendship we have shared. You truly were one of a kind. You were the most thoughtful person ive ever met, and always did so much for others expecting nothing in return. You will be deeply missed. Love you for always!

She was always so happy and always smiling and made work a fun and enjoyable place to be. She was also easy to talk to about anything and would always lend her ear to listen and give you her advice/wisdom! I was in school with mandy as long as I can remember . Senator Gibson and BDSS. She always had a smile and her laugh never stopped. As an adult her laugh was louder . 

She will be missed .

My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. Mandy truly was a special soul. All of her coworkers loved her. I have many happy memories from working with her including her love for holidays and making everyone dress up. I think she was the only one that could get grumpy me to wear a costume lol.  She was always the first one to take up a collection to get a gift for any coworker who was leaving or getting married or having a baby. Myself, her and Katy would often do the shopping and would have so much fun picking out the best communal gift. We also shared many laughs, and lots of other memories I will cherish for a lifetime. Rest in paradise Mandy pants. Now we are all "sad panda" without you here. ❤
