Barbara Anne Boyd

BOYD, Barbara Anne – July 31, 1927- August 28, 2011. Passed away at Hospice Niagara surrounded by her family on August 28, 2011 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Robert, and her parents Quinn and Gordon Beamish. Loving and devoted mother to Margaret (Jim) Muir and Janet Epp; awesome “Baba” of Jennifer (Nicholas McGinnis) and Andrew Epp and Jennifer (Chris) Muir Mant; proud great-grandmother of Wren, sister of Carol (Peter) Koeslag, Jocelyn (Larry) Eller and Anne (John) Groves and aunt to David (Nancy), George (Line), Steven (Deborah) and Roderick (Sue) Thwaites and Lynn (Fraser) Roy, Lorraine Eller, David (Janet) Groves, Rob (Tina) Groves and Susan (Ekrem) Sami. We will miss her deeply. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Niagara for their outstanding and compassionate care of Barbara and family. Visitation will take place at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346) Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. The family will also greet friends of Barbara at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church Street, St. Catharines Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 10 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Private family interment.
