Bonnie will be dearly missed. As a former student, I recall many times helping out in the guidance office. She was always kind hearted and fun to be around. A very classy lady with a great sense of humor. Was a pleasure to have her join us on our trip to Banff Alberta! Great memories. I called her my school Mom!

So sorry to hear this sad news.  Bonnie was an amazing guidance counsellor who did a lot for me during my time at Simcoe.  She was such a compassionate and caring individual, who always looked out for students to the best of her ability.  Such a happy and beautiful spirit, I am so grateful to have met her.

I had the pleasure of working with Bonnie and will always remember her support and especially her warm smile. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We spent your 21st birthday together celebrating with such youthful enthusiasm.  I will think of you each year as your day arrives just as I have for this past year.  Ross and I have so many memories of your hospitality we enjoyed over the years.  I am sharing a picture taken during our meeting with you and Don in Puerto Vallarta in 2010, the picture of health and happiness just as we will always remember you.

Bonnie was a colleague of mine in my early days at BDSS.  I always felt so comfortable and supported whenever I was around her.  She taught us all a lot about interacting with students and fellow teachers.  Her humour and humanity was an enduring inspiration to me.  Thank you Don for sharing your precious time with her with so many of us over the years.

Bonnie and I shared driving from St. Catharines to BDSS until she and Don moved to Jordan. Bonnie often spoke of her recent trips. She enjoyed her work and it showed.

I was greatly saddened also when I heard the very sad news. Bonnie was the first staff person I met on my first day at BDSS. She was very warm in greeting me with kind words of good luck. Her smile was not forgotten and her laugh was joyous and catching. Don, I know you lost a very special women which is very hard to find. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May her many memories make you smile and laugh in your darkest moments. A special lady will always be in your heart.

Don, so sorry for your loss. Bonnie was such a strong and beautiful lady. It was good that she was able to enjoy some time in Bucerias and was able to meet many of her "Mexican" friends. She always had a smile for everyone and was so kind. She will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing. I remember Bonnie well from my time on the Lincoln County Board of Education. She was always kind, enthusiastic, and obviously loved working with kids. Don, please accept my heartfelt condolences on this sad occasion.
