MASSEI, Bruno ~ Bruno Massei embarked on his final journey, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Linhaven Long-Term Home on March 24th, 2024, at the age of 82. He was the treasured spouse for over 55 years to Olga Massei, an everlasting friend and devoted wife. Bruno was the cherished father of Addison Massei (Jaelyn Voz), the late Mark Massei, Julie (Mark) Scaletta, and adoring grandchildren, Sofia and Jacob. Loving brother to Tonino (Antonietta) Massei, Cesira (Everisto) Cardone, and predeceased by brother Aristide (survived by wife Bambina) Massei, and sister Esterina (the late Jimmy) Viola. Bruno will also be fondly remembered by the abundant Franceschini family and his many friends. Born in Farindola, Italy, to Plinio and Giuseppina Massei, Bruno emerged from modest beginnings. His lifelong affinity for automobiles led him from Italy to Holland, where he joined Fiat, and later to Canada, where he crossed paths with his beloved wife, Olga. Establishing his own garage, Bruno's entrepreneurial spirit flourished, culminating in the creation of Bruno's Service Centre, a testament to his dedication and hard work. Despite his numerous achievements, Bruno remained remarkably humble, never boasting about his accomplishments. Perhaps his most memorable adventures were his family trips to the family home in Wasaga Beach and to visit his family in Pescara, Italy. Despite the geographical distance separating him from his family, Bruno held his sisters, brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews close to his heart, cherishing the enduring bonds of family. He tirelessly cultivated precious memories for his children, which he joyfully passed on to his beloved grandchildren, creating a legacy of love and connection that transcends time and distance. Bruno is reunited in heaven with his adoring wife, Olga and his cherished son, Mark.
Il tuo sorriso brilla più che le stelle, illuminando il buio per noi. Ti amo per sempre papà.
