Chip, beloved son of the late Charles (2005) and Margaret, died suddenly in his sleep in Calgary, Alberta on October 4, 2018. Loved brother of Catherine Boldt (Tim), nieces and nephew, Caitlin, Amanda, Nicholas and great niece and nephews, Arielle, Adrian and Elijah all of California. Chip is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins in both Canada and the United States. Chip attended Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School, Humber College and began his retail life at Kinney Shoes and moved on to Canadian Tire Stores in the Niagara Region. He then moved to Canadian Tire in Cochrane, Alberta where he made many friends before moving to live in Calgary with his cousin Ian and family and went to work for UPS. Chip made friends easily, worked diligently and laughed heartily. He was a season ticket holder for the Calgary Flames, Hitmen and the Stamps. He attended Varsity Acres Presbyterian Church in Calgary.
The family will receive friends at the Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346) on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
