When you came to Holland our kids were very young or even not born yet. You were like a grandfather to them always interested. And telling them story of the old days. They love to listen to it!
You were a wonderful husband for my mother in law and taking good care of her.
But most of all you were my friend!!
Sometimes there were moments when you had to be taken care of and I did so, you knew you could count on me, you called me the little angel that always fell from the sky when needed. you can't give me a nicer compliment.
We had so many nice conversations and you liked to talk about the past. The stories about the war told us how you were as a man in the prime of his life, but the character remained!
Too bad I didn't manage to visit you last March, but you remain in my mind forever🧡

Dear Rick and Family So sorry to read about your Dads' passing. He was such a kind man. I can still see your Dad and Mom pulling into the driveway next door. He always had a kind word to say or a laugh to share. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love Always.
