David Harvey March

Was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 29, 1932 and passed away on December 20th 2024 in St.Catharines at the age of 92. David is predeceased by his loving wife Ruth (nee Foley) and were married for 60 years. Sadly missed by his sons Brian (Linda) March and Jeff March (Michelle Hylton). Beloved grandfather to Kyle, Melissa, Trevor, Samantha, Kelsie, Brittany and Alex as well as great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren.

When David and his brother were very young, they were in a band where he played the saxophone and he also loved to listen to big band music, jazz, sketching and painting. David along with his family built their own cottage on Horseshoe Lake in Haliburton. He enjoyed playing the role of "General Manager" for both Brian and Jeff's hockey teams In David's late 40's he took an evening course at York University where he graduated with honours and obtained his Certified Accountant's credentials and he was also the President for the condo board for several years.

Family and friends will be received at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Saturday January 11th 2025 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. A celebration of David's life will follow in the Chapel at 1:00pm. In memoriam donations to Alzheimer Society of Ontario https://alzheimer.ca would be appreciated.
