I have good memories of times spent with your dad and mom at St. Paul Street United Church (Silver Spire). They were always wonderful to our family.
Your father was an outstanding and compassionate man. He took the time to look after his family and others. He dedicated his time to the church to give back to the community. He will always be remembered.

Don was always a friendly face at St Paul Street United  and took such an interest in everybody. He always asked our girls what they were doing at school and tried to keep up with their activities. He truly cared about everyone. Our condolences to Robert, Becky and their families.

So many Sundays, all those years ago, we shared wonderful church services with your family at Silver Spire! Your father was an extremely caring and kind man and  I know that wherever you are, he will be watching over you.

Please allow me to extend my deepest sympathy to all the members of Donald Bennett’s family.  It has been my privilege to know Don through the great friendship that I have with his son Bob.  I have happy memories of times spent with Bob and Don.  Perhaps the most memorable of these is of our trip to the old Maple Leaf Gardens to see the Leafs in action.  This was a time to enjoy one another’s fellowship and to appreciate Don and Gloria’s generous hospitality.  In the many years of my friendship with Bob he has always spoken fondly of his dad.  Don was obviously a proud and loving parent to both his children and his grandchildren.  All the members of the Bennett family are in my thoughts and prayers at this time along with those of my wife Jillann.  May Don rest in peace and know a joyful reunion with all his family and friends who have gone before him.

Enjoyed talks with Gloria & Don @ Fairview Mall & later with Don alone.  I teased him that he did more talking than walking. An enjoyable way to fill his mornings as he knew so many people. At Tuffords he talked with  the staff & tried to keep up with their days off & family events.

I will miss my visits with Donald at Tuffords he  always appreciated the morning visits perking up to start the day.  It was a honour to know your father.  He was a very proud man and was especially proud of his family.
