Don was born in Simcoe, Ontario. He lived most of his life in St. Catharines. He was fondly remembered as Bada.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra (Hans) and Wendy (Tony), grandchildren Cory (Jenn) and Donald (Carrie), great grandchildren Chloe, Olivia, Owen, Kylie and Adelyn. He is predeceased by his wife Jean and his parents.
