Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Donald passed away in his 69th year. Dear husband to Patricia Sawatsky, he will be sadly missed by his children Chris (Renee) Sawatsky, Natasha Sawatsky, Michele (Mike) Lennox, and Kristy Woodrow, his grandchildren Colin (Danielle) Forrest, Victoria (Phil) Forrest, Patrick, (Nicole) Woodrow, Caitlyn (Zach) Woodrow, and Abby Congdon, as well as his great-grandchildren Sophia and Reiner. He is survived by his brothers Jack (Sylvia) Sawatsky, Ron (Blanche) Sawatsky, and Rick (Maie) Sawatsky.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St., St. Catharines, Ontario (905-684-6346) on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1 – 4 pm. A Celebration of Don’s life will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 1 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #24, 111 Church St., St. Catharines.
