It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Doug on Friday, July 31st, 2015 at the Hamilton General Hospital. He is loved and will be missed by his sister Jennifer Schwenker and her husband Geoff, nieces Destiny and Trinity, step-dad Brian King and step-mom Sylvia Smith and his extended family at Mainstream. Predeceased by his Dad Doug (2004) and Mom Pam (2012). Doug is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug left an imprint on all our lives.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St., St. Catharines, Ontario (905-684-6346) on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Doug’s life will be held in the chapel Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donation made to Mainstream in Doug’s memory would be appreciated by his family.
