Eleanor Jane Ryczak

September 3, 1926 – February 15, 2018

Beloved wife of John Ryczak (1982) loving mother of Wayne Ryczak; Joanne Morris; Ivan (Terry Alice – July 2017); Ellen Jane Boudreau; Daniel Donald Ryczak (1962). Dear grandmother of Heather Ryczak; Heidi (Michael) Price; Daniel (Karen) Ryczak; Jeff (Jennifer) Plate; James Plate; Elizabeth (Tom) Morris DeAngelis; Robert (Dianna) Ryczak; Jocelyn (Aaron) Wiley; Kenneth Ryczak (2002). Eleanor is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; Augustine Plate; Eleanor Plate; Victoria Crowe; Jonathan Crowe; Christopher Plate; Aria DeAngelis; Ryan Gordon-Ryczak; Morgan Gordon-Ryczak; Kendra Ryczak; Emily Price; Lucas Price; Micheala Hartman-Noel; Harley Ryczak Hartman-Noel; Robert Jr. Ryczak; Kurtis Wiley and 2 great-great-grandchildren Abigail and Vera. Besides her husband, son and grandson she was predeceased by her parents Allan and Martha Yost and sister Catherine Parkes.

As a dedicated registered nurse, Eleanor nursed in numerous hospitals in Ontario; always interested in health care issues, she was a member of the NHS St. Catharines Hospital Auxiliary for over 40 years. She was an active member of the Mary Martha Society at Resurrection Lutheran Church.
