Knowing that she is at peace now, Betty’s family announce her passing at Niagara Falls General Hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Betty at the age of 78, was the dear wife of Richard. Devoted mother of the late Patty, Bradley (Sandra) and Megan (Colin). Cherished Gigi and Granny of Johnny, Ian, Josie, Aiden, Ashton and Gabriel. Loving sister of Jim (Barb), Peggy (Jacques) and Kathy (Ken).
Forever in the hearts of her many relatives, friends and those she baked for over the years. Betty will be remembered for her immeasurable kindness, passion for baking, love and dedication for all children, especially her grandchildren. Betty was a dance mom, who loved hosting family functions and always made sure her loved ones were taken care of.
Visitation at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service to Celebrate Betty’s Life will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. In keeping with Betty’s wishes, cremation will take place.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
