Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Niagara Health System – St. Catharines Site on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in her 92nd year. Dear sister of the late Harry George (1956), and Shirley Vaughn & husband Bill of St. Catharines. Missed by her nephews Bill Vaughn & his wife Arden, Bob Vaughn, Brent Vaughn and the late Brian Vaughn (2006). Great-Aunt of Elizabeth(Dave), Sarah(Justin), & Robert(Pasha); and Great-Great Aunt of Katrina, Tucker & Chloe. Predeceased by her parents Milne & Sadie George. Betty was a long time employee of General Motors, an involved member of St. George’s Anglican Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Lincoln Chapter #142.
In accordance with Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church Street on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11 AM.
