Passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her family at her side on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at Linhaven Home, at the age of 90. Born in Hensall, Ontario, the wife of the late Kenneth Porter (2006), she resided in St. Catharines. Dear mother of Dawn Barber (Paul), Terry Porter and Karen Mihelcic. Grandmother of Holly Watson (Paul), Chris Barber (Meghan), Chelsea Barber, Calvin and Jeanine Porter, Adam and Erin Mihelcic. Great-Grandmother of Owen and Evan, and dear sister-in-law of Ernie Adams. Erma enjoyed her past times of gardening, baking and her shelties. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Brock wing of Linhaven Long Term Care for her excellent care. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Linhaven Auxiliary. The family will be holding a Celebration of Erma’s life at the Merritton Legion, 2 Chestnut St. East, St. Catharines on Saturday, November 18th between 2-4pm.
