In Loving Memory of Fadil Salih Khairy

       When our family first arrived, it was Amo Fadil—Allah yarhamo—and Khalo Khairy who welcomed us with open arms and helped us begin a new chapter in a new country. His kindness and generosity will forever be remembered.

A pillar of the Sudanese community in the Niagara Region, Amo Fadil dedicated himself to bringing people together. His home was always open, his table never empty, MashAllah. His legacy of hospitality, service, and love for others will continue to inspire all who knew him.

May Allah reward him abundantly for all that he has done, and grant him Jannat al-Firdous. Allahuma ameen. 🤲🏽

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah for His decree and destiny. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return.

Farewell, my beloved father… farewell to the one who was my pillar in this life, my role model, and my sincere advisor. I pray to Allah, the Most High, the Most Great, to forgive you, to shower you with His vast mercy, to make your grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, to keep you firm when questioned, and to reunite us with you in Al-Firdaws Al-A‘la (the highest part of Paradise) without reckoning or punishment.

O Allah, make what befell him a purification and elevation in rank. Admit him among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—what an excellent companionship they are.

I will continue to pray for you for as long as I live, and I entrust you to Allah, whose trust is never lost.

My dear Dad,

My heart aches. I miss you more than words can express. I know you're in a better place now, and I want you to know that I am forever grateful for the wisdom you shared and the love you gave. I will always cherish the lessons you taught us about kindness and resilience. I will live my life honoring your legacy of integrity and compassion. I promise to honor your wishes by fearing God and trusting Him in all things.

Rest in peace, my hero, until we meet again in heaven, Insha'Allah.

Losing Dad has left a space no one can fill. I miss him deeply, every single day.
