Peacefully at the Niagara Manor on Friday, October 14, 2011 in his 99th year. Dear husband to the late Philipine. Loving father to Herb (Suzy), Allan (Evelyn) and Joan (Matthias) Krey. Loving grandfather to David, Michael, Tammy, Ted, Johanna, Beth, Sarah, Ruth, Nathan, Matthew, James and Tirzah. Loving great-grandfather to Jesy, Kyler, Ethan, Joel, Hannah, John, Ruth, Abigail, Sarah, Joshua, Rachael, Naomi, Esther, and Matthias. Fred is predeceased by his brothers and sisters. He ran a dairy farm until 1964, worked at Canadian Tire until his retirement in 1985, and was a long time member of Grace Lutheran Church.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Monday, October 17, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Rd. St. Catharines with visiting at the church an hour prior to the service. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
