Harvey Richard deKleine

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey deKleine. On August 12, 2026, at the age of 61, with his wife by his side and the sound of his guitar being played, Harvey received a beautiful prelude into Peace.

It was a short battle with colon cancer that found him spending much of his time in hospital during the last three months. We remain thankful for the Hope we live with and for a beautiful community that he and his family have in Niagara. As we grieve together, we ask you to join us in surrounding his wife Elaine and their three children, Alaynah (Tom), Derek (Sennet), and Isaiah (Hannah) with love, prayer and support.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 15 from 4-7 P.M. at Jubilee Fellowship Church, 13 Wilholme Dr, St. Catharines, ON L2W 1B9.

A celebration of his life will take place at Jubilee Fellowship Church, 13 Wilholme Drive, St. Catharines on Sunday August 23, 2026 at 6:00pm Doors open at 5:30pm. Tapestry of Light: an evening of music & shared memories.

Donations can be made in his honour to McNally House Hospice.
