Helen was a socially responsible individual, recognized and awarded for the significant contributions to volunteering with numerous associations, recently actively involved with the Niagara Literacy association, and supporting of charities through monetary donations.

Helen had been President of the Niagara Region Laurier Liberal Ladies over a 6 year term.

She had a fervent enthusiasm for politics, hockey, curling and being a proud Canadian.

Helen had an unlimited capacity for creating and maintaining friendships. So many friends, so vast the friendships.
